Registering of players with BI is a relatively straightforward process and it is a mandatory requirement for all players in the 2026-27 season. 
If your child was registered with Basketball Ireland last season, you should have received and renewal email from noprely@sport80.com.

If you are a new member or were not registered with Basketball Ireland last season you need to create an account and complete registration.

Registration will also allow players in our senior squads to participate in regional BI camps and be eligible for regional or international teams. 

Registration also qualifies players for Basketball Ireland’s Serious Injury Insurance policy. Cost of Registration is dependent on age but it is nominal, and this is in addition to your annual club fee.

If your child has previously been registered with BI over the last 3 years, we may have to organise a transfer. Let us know. 

Registration will generate a BIPIN number, which is the players unique identifier, and this number should be forwarded to the club secretary who will record it on our club management system, ClubZap
